Effective October 2, 2026
These terms apply to the hosted service at md2pdf.studio, including its share links and REST API. md2pdf.studio is operated by JSiapoDev, an individual developer based in Peru. The source code is published separately under the MIT license; these terms cover the service, not the code.
MD2PDF converts Markdown into PDF, HTML and images in your browser. It is free and offered as is. Features may change, and the service may be suspended or discontinued.
What you write is yours. Nothing is uploaded to convert a file. When you create a share link, you give us permission to store and serve that encrypted document for as long as the link exists. You are responsible for what you share and for having the right to share it.
DELETE /api/delete/{id} and its edit key./share?doc=… carry the whole document, unencrypted, in the address itself. Nothing is stored for them, so they never expire and cannot be deleted.#k= part) can read the document. Treat it like a password.Do not use md2pdf.studio to create or share:
Do not try to get around the rate limits, overload the service, or probe it for vulnerabilities outside the responsible disclosure policy.
We cannot read or scan stored documents: they are encrypted and we do not keep the keys. Documents shared from the web app are encrypted in the author's browser. Documents sent to the API in plain text, and links the app created before the October 2, 2026 update, were encrypted by our server, which saw their content during that request. We rely on reports. To report a link, email jsiapo.dev@gmail.com with the full link and what is wrong with it. For copyright complaints, also include the work you own, your contact details, and a statement that you are the owner or authorized to act for them.
We may delete any share link and block its source when we receive a credible report, without notice to its author. Sources that repeatedly share infringing or abusive content are blocked.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, JSiapoDev is not liable for lost data, expired or deleted links, or indirect damages arising from your use of the service.
We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do. Continuing to use the service means you accept the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of Peru.
